However, this procedure requires a number of sutures to close the wound and it generally takes some time for recovery of vision. 3. Intracapsular surgery: This technique is not very common and has a high rate of complication. It requires even larger incision than the other type of Cataract surgery and the whole lens along with the surrounding capsule is removed.
