Sara Bureau No because the cookies draw the moisture from the bread so it goes stale and hard instead of moldy. It also works on cookies that have been cooked too long in the oven. The bread ends up hard as a rock and the cookies wind up soft, my mom saved a batch of cookies I made that way once. :)

You see I took with me our family video camera. I mean I could barely use it! But I clumsily turned it on and with sweaty hands pointed it in the general direction of the beautiful African people the very course of my life was about to change.

I knew that if I could take these stories to the right people, then I could help them… So I did.

When I got back home I spoke in schools across the country and on national TV. The video I captured in Africa I took back to my home country and encouraged thousands to give to these people in need.

You know, not much has changed in my life since then. My latest project AutoImmune Secrets, is the culmination of my life work as a documentary filmmaker.
